ERIC CAMERON STOUT, MD, FAAP

Dr. Eric C. Stout graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  He obtained his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Ar.  Upon graduation, he then moved to New Orleans, LA for his Pediatric Residency training program with Louisiana State University, attending both Charity Hospital and Children's Hospital of New Orleans.  His post residency education includes one year of intense Pediatric Cardiology training with Washington University/St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  He is Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  He is currently serving as the Vice-Chief of Pediatrics for Southeast Georgia Healthcare Systems.

Dr. Stout has served in both the United States Marine Corps and the Army reserves for 12 years, rising from the rank of private to Drill Sergeant in combat infantry training, and ultimately receiving his commission as a Captain in the Army Medical Corps.  His hobbies include college football, yes - a little NASCAR, fitness and his family.
